Folkwear 205 Printed 1982

The Gibson Girl was the ideal of feminine beauty at the turn of the 20th century, and by 1905, the Sears Roebuck catalogue offered 150 versions of this blouse. The high-collar, back-buttoning yoke style is still just as flattering today. Instructions for optional tucks and lace insertion included. Suggested fabrics: Soft lightweight fabrics such as batiste, lawn, muslin, silk, gingham, or calico.

This is one of a large group of Vintage patterns I acquired recently when an old shop was liquidated.. The pattern is new and has never been used but the envelope shows wear.

Folkwear patterns are perfect for ethnic and period clothing and costumes for dance, theatre , historic reenactors, ...

Older Folkwear patterns were cut to older size standards. Be sure to check the chart for sizes.
